One Global Warning No. 2

Greetings to you! I hope you all are well, and I hope you all have a measure of assurance and tranquility. These are trying times filled with the uncertainty of what is next to come, but when we are unsure, let us raise our eyes to the hills from whence comes our help. Our help comes from Adonai, the maker of heaven and earth. He will not let our foot slip – our guardian is not asleep. No, the guardian of Israel never slumbers or sleeps. (Psalm 121:1-4 Complete Jewish Bible) When we know not which way is straight, let us recall that His word is a lamp for our feet and a light on our path. (Psalm 119: 105 CJB) And when our souls are wearied, let us proclaim the word that says not once have I seen the righteous abandoned or his descendants begging for bread! (Psalm 37:25 CJB) Amen. Therefore, let us always give thanks unto the LORD – even during this tribulation that has come upon the world – for He is good, and His mercy continues forever. (Psalm 106:1 CJB)

And saints, remember that we are merely sojourners here. Our home is not this earth. We are passers-by. We have a heavenly inheritance from the LORD, so let us not faint. These days shall not last forever, but they will not pass merely because innovation and technology yield a strategy and vaccine for this current plague. I wish to God that careful planning and inoculation would signal the end of the matter! However, such will not be the case. Rather, these are the beginning of the birth pains spoken of in Matthew 24:

As Yeshua left the Temple and was going away, his talmidim came and called his attention to its buildings. But he answered them, “You see all these? Yes! I tell you, they will be totally destroyed — not a single stone will be left standing!”

When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the talmidim came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that you are coming, and that the ‘olam hazeh is ending?”

Yeshua replied: “Watch out! Don’t let anyone fool you! For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah!’ and they will lead many astray. You will hear the noise of wars nearby and the news of wars far off; see to it that you don’t become frightened. Such things must happen, but the end is yet to come. For peoples will fight each other, nations will fight each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world; all this is but the beginning of the ‘birth-pains.’ (Matthew 24:1-8 CJB)

Therefore, as it is written dear friends, these things must surely be. We are at the end of days, and nothing can impede the Lord’s command. He testifies of what is true. As such, be wary of secular congregants who profess to know the LORD but declare, “God would never…” The LORD uses birth pains as a metaphor in verse eight to tells us what shall be. When a woman is in labor, she has contractions, or birth pains, which become more frequent and intense as she nears the time of her delivery. So shall it be in the earth. Wars, famines, earthquakes, and plagues will become more frequent and intense as the day of the LORD nears. Amen. (NOTE: In 2016, Zika caused a stir in Rio, but the games proceeded. In 2020, this past July, COVID-19 halted the games in Japan. These are signs of which we must be aware but never fearful. And there is no coincidence here, as the Olympics are filled with lust – lust for flesh, lust for fame, lust for glory, etc. I am one who enjoyed watching the competition, but the LORD revealed the extent of the unrighteousness.)

Let us all be instant in daily prayer, so that we may know the road to travel. Keep persisting in prayer, staying alert in it and being thankful. (Colossians 4:2 CJB) Amen.
